  Dr. Ingraham is an orthodontic specialist and a member of the American Board of Orthodontics and the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Ingraham has undergone three years of university-based post-doctoral residency in order to learn the special skills required to manage the complexities of orthodontic treatment.

  We strive to always keep you informed of the progress of your treatment. Progress reports are given to the patient at each visit.

  We will never use recycled braces in our practice. Your braces should be customized for your mouth only!

Many of the patients in our practice are adults, so we make every effort to create the most efficient treatment plan for the busy adult’s lifestyle.   Dr. Ingraham is trained and skilled in treating patients with the Invisalign system. Dr. Ingraham can determine if Invisalign is right for your case.

• We keep your safety in mind.
  We keep up with the latest standards in sterilization. If possible, we use disposable items in our office. For all other instruments, we use dry-heat or autoclave sterilization.

• We use the latest technological advances in orthodontic appliances.
  Nickel-titanium-alloy archwires have replaced the traditional stainless steel wires used in braces. It provides our patients with a temperature-sensitive wire that allows for continuous movement of the teeth over longer periods of time and resulting in decreased treatment time and enhanced comfort. Our clear braces offer our patients a more aesthetic solution while still providing efficient treatment like metal braces. Our indirect bonding procedures make the process of placing the appliance on the teeth quick and comfortable. This new technology has yielded faster treatment times and more ideal bite function for our patients.

• Retention is just as important as active treatment.
  It’s important to follow through with the retention phase of your treatment to ensure your new smile lasts a lifetime. Many times, we have seen patients’ teeth relapse due to not wearing their retainer regularly. We use bonded lingual retainers on the lower teeth; they are comfortable and bonded to the back of your lower teeth, so it is not removable. When you complete active treatment, Dr. Ingraham will discuss the proper retention plan for your case.
